Our Leaders
John Volosen, Pastor
With a vast experience in the Ministry field, Pastor John Volosen (AKA Nelu) enriches tremendously Dallas Romanian Community by bringing his Biblical knowledge and his tireless desire to minister, always displaying a positive attitude despite the chalenges that he goes through. Acting as a Senior Pastor since the year 2000, the same year he and his family imigrated from his native Romania, for Agape Romanian Church, Pastor John succesfuly jogles the time between being a full time, unpaid Pastor, and his family life, flawlesly raising his beautiful 12 kids.
Aurel Covaci, Pastor
Aurel Covaci was given the Pastor title back in the 90’s when he was appointed to lead Elim Romanian Church. In the past 15 years Aurel has strived to meet his duties, through the simple everyday tasks of making a phone call, visiting the sick, helping the needy, lending an ear, and most of all being an example. In 1987, with the knowledge of his life being at stake during the cruel communist regime, Aurel left his home country of Romania in hope of creating a greater opportunity for his family. Recently since the uniting of the church, Aurel Covaci is actively ministering Bethel Apostolic Romanian Church. (Courtesy of Maria Covaci)
